Enrolment & Availability
Enrolling is simple. You can book a personalised tour of your preferred centre or contact us directly. Our team will guide you through the enrolment process and ensure a smooth transition for your family.
Some of our centres do have waitlists, particularly for younger age groups. We encourage you to join early to secure your preferred days and schedule.
We welcome children from 6 weeks to school age. Our programs include Babies (0-1 years), Toddlers (1-3 years), and Preschool/Kindergarten (3-5 years), each tailored to the developmental needs of that age group.

Child Care Subsidy (CCS)
The CCS is a government initiative that helps families cover the cost of early education and care. The amount you receive depends on your household income, activity level, and days of attendance.
Yes. Our team is here to help. Once you begin the enrolment process, we’ll assist you in confirming your details with Centrelink and explain how your subsidy is applied.
Most families are eligible for some level of support. You can check your eligibility here, or we can walk you through it.
Your out-of-pocket cost depends on your CCS rate and booking pattern. Your Centre Manager or our Family Support Team will provide a personalised estimate based on your family’s needs.
Daily Life at Papilio
Each day at Papilio is thoughtfully structured to support your child’s learning, development and wellbeing. Children enjoy a balance of play-based learning, guided experiences, nutritious meals, quiet time, and free play, indoors and out.
We provide nappies, wipes, sunscreen, and nutritious meals (most centres). Families are asked to pack a spare change of clothes, a water bottle, a wide-brimmed hat, and any comfort items their child may need.
Yes. In our Healthy Beginnings (0-1 year) program, we work closely with families to follow your baby’s established routines for feeding, sleeping and play. Familiarity and consistency are key to helping babies feel safe and secure.
Children are offered rest and relaxation time as part of their daily rhythm. Our educators work with you to ensure this supports your child’s needs and family preferences.
Learning & Development
We follow the exclusive Lifelong Learning Curriculum, which blends the latest research in early childhood education with real-life experiences. Our programs are tailored by age group and aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.
Our Kindergarten and Preschool program includes Big Thinkers STEM learning, foundational literacy and numeracy, social-emotional development, and hands-on project work to build confidence for the transition to school.
Yes. Our educators share daily updates, photos and learning stories via our secure centre app. You’ll also receive Progress Records to track your child’s development throughout the year.
Yes. We provide inclusive early education and work in partnership with families and support professionals to meet each child’s individual needs.
Nutrition & Wellbeing
Yes, at most centres. Our Healthy Menu includes a rotating selection of seasonal meals and snacks, freshly prepared onsite by our centre cook.
Absolutely. Children with allergies or specific dietary needs are clearly identified through placemats and Food ID cards. Our cooks follow strict food safety and allergy management procedures.

Our educators gently encourage children to explore new foods at their own pace. We create a relaxed and social mealtime environment where children feel confident trying new things.
Safety & Security
Our centres feature secure entry points, childproofed environments, high supervision standards, and rigorous safety checks. Our teams participate in monthly emergency drills using our Safety Bear mascot, helping children build familiarity with procedures in a calm, age-appropriate way.
You’ll be contacted immediately if your child shows signs of illness. To maintain a healthy environment, we ask that children stay home when they’re unwell.
Yes, with written consent and instructions. Only trained educators administer medication, and all medications are stored securely.
Our educators follow strict cleaning, handwashing and sanitising routines throughout the day. Toys and surfaces are cleaned frequently to ensure a hygienic learning space.
Communication & Family Partnerships
You’ll receive real-time updates via our secure centre app, including photos, meals, rest times and learning experiences.
Yes. We welcome conversations and value your input. You can also arrange meetings with the Centre Manager or Room Leader at any time.
Yes! From cultural celebrations to art shows and parent-teacher catch-ups, we regularly invite families to connect with the centre community.
Yes. All educators hold, or are actively working towards, approved early childhood qualifications and are supported through the Affinity Learning Academy.
Fees, Absences & Public Holidays
No, Papilio centres are closed on public holidays.
Standard fees apply for absences, but you may be eligible for up to 42 allowable absences per financial year under the CCS.
Yes. Many Papilio centres offer yoga, music, movement and nature-based programs, included in your daily fee.
