Our centres welcome children from 6 weeks to 5 years of age, across Nursery, Toddler and Preschool/Kindergarten rooms. Each room is tailored to the developmental stage of the children in it.

Start by finding your nearest centre using the search above, then book a tour - a tour is required prior to enrolment. Once you’re ready to proceed, our team will guide you through completing enrolment forms and providing supporting documents including your child’s birth certificate and immunisation records.

Daily fees vary by centre and room type. Most families pay significantly less than the full fee thanks to the Child Care Subsidy (CCS). Use our CCS Calculator to estimate your out-of-pocket costs based on your family’s income and circumstances.

Yes. All Papilio centres are approved childcare providers, meaning eligible families can access the CCS to reduce their fees. From January 2026, all CCS-eligible families receive a minimum of 72 subsidised hours of care per fortnight - around 3 days per week - regardless of work or study activity. You can apply through your MyGov account linked to Centrelink.

Eligibility is based on your family’s combined income, your child’s immunisation status and your level of recognised activity (work, study, volunteering etc.). Families earning under $85,279 per year may receive up to 90% subsidy. You can check your eligibility and apply via MyGov. Our team is also happy to help point you in the right direction.

We recommend registering your interest as early as possible - Nursery places in particular can fill up quickly. You’re welcome to enquire before your baby is born. Contact your preferred centre or call our Family Support Team on 1800 244 532 to discuss availability.

Yes, and we encourage it. A tour is a required step in the Papilio enrolment process. You’ll meet the educators, explore the spaces and get answers to all your questions, with no pressure on the day. Some families are also invited to a Stay & Play session to help their child settle in before their first official day.

The Lifelong Learning Curriculum is Papilio’s exclusive early education program for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. It supports development across key areas including social and emotional skills, literacy, numeracy, STEM and school readiness, through purposeful play and intentional learning experiences

Yes. Chef-prepared meals and snacks are freshly made on-site each day using wholesome, seasonal ingredients. Our menus cater for a range of dietary requirements and allergies. You can view a sample menu on our website.

Yes, most Papilio centres provide nappies and wipes for enrolled children. Please confirm inclusions with your specific centre or our Family Support Team on 1800 244 532.

We know starting childcare is a significant step. Our educators work closely with families to understand each child’s routine and needs before they begin, and we offer a gradual orientation process including Stay & Play sessions where appropriate. We’re here to support both child and family every step of the way.

We use Storypark to keep families connected, sharing photos, learning stories, observations and important notifications throughout the day so you always feel close to what your child is experiencing.

We ask that unwell children stay home to protect the health of all children and educators. Our staff are trained in first aid and will contact you immediately if a child becomes unwell in our care. Each centre follows clear health and hygiene protocols in line with national guidelines.
