How We Track Your Child’s Learning
Our educators carefully observe, document, and assess your child’s development during their time at Papilio. This process allows us to gain a deeper understanding of how they learn and interact within their environment. Observations focus on key areas such as:
- Cognitive development

- Language and communication skills
- Physical development
Analysing and Understanding Learning
After gathering observations, our educators reflect on:
- What learning is evident? Is it new or evolving?
- How is this learning meaningful for the child?
- Was the experience significant or concerning for the educator or family?
- Are there emerging interests that can be nurtured further?
These insights allow us to personalise each child’s learning journey and ensure they are continually progressing in an engaging, supportive, and enriching environment.

We believe in fostering strong family-educator partnerships. After completing a Progress Record, educators will schedule a parent-teacher interview, providing an opportunity to:
