Aussie Wildlife Champions
Learning About Aussie Animals, the Fun Way
At Papilio Early Learning, we believe that fostering a love for nature and wildlife from an early age helps build a generation of environmentally conscious individuals. That’s why we offer Aussie Wildlife Champions, an exclusive educational program designed for children aged 3-5 years as part of our Lifelong Learning Curriculum School Readiness Program.
Why Conservation Education Matters
Australia is home to some of the world’s most unique and endangered wildlife, with many species found nowhere else on Earth. Protecting these animals and their habitats starts with education, and by engaging young children in conservation learning, we are planting the seeds for a sustainable future.
Through Aussie Wildlife Champions, children develop:
- An understanding of Australia’s diverse ecosystems and native animals
- A sense of responsibility for protecting wildlife and habitats
- Critical thinking skills through interactive learning and exploration
- A connection to nature that fosters lifelong environmental awareness
What Children Learn in Aussie Wildlife Champions
This engaging program consists of three immersive units, each designed to captivate young learners through hands-on activities, storytelling, and exploration. Children will learn about 18 iconic Australian animals, including:

- Green Tree Frogs – What makes them unique in their environment?
- Kookaburras – How do they communicate, and why are they important to the ecosystem?
- And many more!
Throughout the program, children will explore key questions such as:
- What does the animal look like?
- Where does it live, and what does its habitat look like?
- How does it grow and reproduce?
- What are the threats to its survival, and how can we help?
