Meet Our Team
Meet Audrey Mae Aldon, Centre Manager at Papilio Killara. Audrey brings almost 10 years of experience in early childhood education, holding a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care as well as a Diploma in Leadership and Management. Her passion lies in seeing children grow and achieve their developmental milestones, and she finds immense joy in knowing she can make a real difference in their lives.
What makes Papilio Killara truly special? It’s a centre where inclusion and quality care are at the heart of everything we do. We proudly run a Strategic Inclusion Plan and an Inclusion Support Program funded by the Australian Government, ensuring every child feels supported. Families from diverse backgrounds are welcomed with bicultural support educators, and breastfeeding is fully supported.
Children love our cooking program twice a week, which promotes healthy eating and hands-on learning. We’ve been awarded as a Health Promoting Munch & Move Service by NSW Health, and maintain strong ties with local services who visit annually. Community involvement is a big part of who we are, with year-round fundraising and charity drives.
Audrey leads a highly qualified team - 6 out of 9 educators hold Diplomas or university degrees in early childhood education, with a combined 30 years of experience. Every educator is trained in Child Protection and Child Safe Standards, ensuring your child’s safety and wellbeing are always the top priority.
