Meet Audrey Mae Aldon, Centre Manager at Papilio Killara.
With almost 10 years of experience in early childhood education, Audrey holds both a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and a Diploma in Leadership and Management. She is passionate about supporting children to grow in confidence, reach key developmental milestones, and feel a strong sense of belonging.
At Papilio Killara, Audrey leads a highly qualified and experienced team who are deeply committed to inclusive, high-quality early education. Six of our nine educators hold Diplomas or university qualifications, with a combined 30 years of experience supporting children and families.
Inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. Our centre proudly implements a Strategic Inclusion Plan and participates in the Australian Government’s Inclusion Support Program, ensuring every child feels seen, supported, and valued. We also welcome families from diverse backgrounds, with bicultural support educators and a strong commitment to respectful, inclusive practices, including support for breastfeeding families.
Children enjoy a range of enriching experiences, including our popular cooking program held twice a week, which supports healthy habits and hands-on learning. We are proud to be recognised as a Health Promoting Munch & Move Service by NSW Health.
Strong community connections are an important part of our centre, with regular visits from local services and involvement in fundraising and charity initiatives throughout the year.
Most importantly, every member of our team is trained in Child Protection and Child Safe Standards, ensuring your child’s safety and wellbeing are always our highest priority.
