Meet Our Pitt Town Early Learning Team
My name is Tamara Capizzi, and I’m proud to be the Centre Manager at Papilio Early Learning Pitt Town. With a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and 10 years of experience in the sector, I am passionate about creating a welcoming environment where children feel safe, happy, and excited to learn each day.
What I enjoy most about my role is supporting and mentoring our educators, building strong, trusting relationships with families, and helping create a centre community where everyone feels valued and connected. Seeing our team grow in confidence and knowing that together we're making a positive difference in children's lives is what makes my work so rewarding.
One of the things that makes Papilio Pitt Town truly special is our strong connection to the local community. Located next door to Pitt Town Public School, our children enjoy opportunities to participate in activities with Year 5 students and make use of the school's oval for additional outdoor play and exploration. These experiences help children build confidence, form community connections, and become familiar with their local surroundings.
Our children also take pride in helping care for and water our flower garden, learning responsibility and developing a sense of ownership in their environment. With local shops nearby and a strong commitment to supporting small businesses within our family and educator community, we love creating meaningful connections that extend beyond our centre gates.
