Meet Our Team
Hello, my name is Ellise Mallett, and I am proud to be the Centre Director at Papilio Early Learning Cashmere. With 38 years of experience in early childhood education and an Advanced Diploma, I bring a wealth of knowledge, passion, and dedication to nurturing young minds.
As a wife of over 25 years and a mother to two wonderful daughters, I deeply value family and understand how important it is to provide an environment that is both educational and nurturing for your children. I strive to empower our team of educators to deliver the highest quality care, inspiring them to create positive learning experiences that foster a lifelong love of learning and build memories to last a lifetime.
Papilio Cashmere is a unique centre located in a beautiful rural setting, offering plenty of space for children to explore, play, and have fun. Each classroom features its own natural outdoor area, with a large water park in the main yard for endless enjoyment. Inside, the comforting aroma of freshly baked goodies greets you, thanks to our talented Centre Chef Julie, who prepares nutritious meals in our recently renovated kitchen—don’t forget to grab one of her famous berry muffins on your way out!
We’re also excited about the upcoming upgrades to our outdoor learning environments, which will make our spacious yards even more inspiring for children’s exploration and play.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling to experience new cultures and spending quality time with my family, including my two adorable grandchildren who bring me so much joy.
