Welcome to Papilio Early Learning Officer, where experience and teamwork come together to support every child’s unique journey.
I’m Carolyn Horgan, Centre Manager, with over 24 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, including 6 years in management. Beginning as an Educational Leader, where I discovered my passion for mentoring educators and shaping meaningful learning environments. That passion has grown with me into my current role, where I proudly lead a team of dedicated and talented professionals.
Together, we’ve created a centre that is warm, welcoming, and deeply focused on the individual needs of each child. We understand that every child learns differently, and we’re committed to nurturing their curiosity, confidence, and creativity through our Lifelong Learning Curriculum. Whether a child learns through play, exploration, or connection, we meet them where they are and support them every step of the way.
Our team works collaboratively to provide high-quality care and education, building strong relationships with families and celebrating every milestone along the way. At Papilio, we believe in creating a sense of belonging, for children, families, and educators alike.

Babies (0-1 years)
Healthy Beginnings Program
Grounded in attachment theory and relationship practices, this program focuses on building secure, responsive relationships between babies and their educators. With nurturing care and emotional attunement, we support babies’ overall wellbeing and development.
Toddlers (1-3 years)
Early Experiences Program
Inspired by the Abecedarian Approach, our toddler program emphasises language-rich interactions, such as conversational reading and learning games. These early experiences build the foundations for strong communication, social skills, and cognitive growth.
Preschool or Kindergarten (3-5 years)
School Readiness Program
